Pinehill / MR Fantasy Faire 2006

The 2006 Mystic Realms® Fantasy Faire will be held at the Pine Hill Scout Reservation near Berlin, NJ. The camp is easy to reach, but accurate on-line directions are hard to come by.
  • The major on-line map databases will give you the wrong location if you enter "Pine Hill Scout Reservation, Berlin NJ", probably because of all the hypenated road names in the area ("Watsontown-New Freedom Road", "Berlin-Cross Keys Road").
  • The directions on the Camp Pine Hill web site list the correct roads, but they were apparently written a few years ago, and some of the landmarks and mileage estimates are incorrect.
  • For reference, here are the correct directions to get to the camp from northern NJ:
    1. Take the New Jersey Turnpike to exit 4.
    2. Take Route 73 South about 10 miles to the Berlin traffic circle.
    3. Turn right on the second exit off the circle, between the Palace Diner and the McDonalds, onto Berlin-Cross Keys Road.
    4. At the third traffic light (about 1.4 miles from the traffic circle), make a right-hand turn onto Watsontown-New Freedom Road. There is a Wawa on the left and a Mobil station on the right.
    5. The entrance to Camp Pine Hill is 0.9 miles up the road, on the left.
  • On the days of the faire, look for road signs and people in colorful costumes to mark the way to the Mystic Realms® Fantasy Faire.
