Search for Watson Corner, at the intersection of Salem County Routes 672 and 611. The camp site is just 0.4mi northeast of Watson Corner, between 672, 611, and the small lake on Cool Run.

NOTE: These directions include a long stretch of Salem County Rt. 672, which is known at various points as "South Main Street", "Yorketown Road", "Woodstown-Friesburg Road", and possibly even "Watson's Mill Road". You've been warned.

From Route 295

  1. Take 295 to Exit 11. Get onto Rt. 322 east.
  2. Continue about 7 miles to Rt. 45, at a traffic light in Mullica Hill. Turn right onto Rt. 45 south. (NOTE: The sign at this intersection indicates you can only reach Rt. 45 by turning left. It lies.)
  3. At the Friends School in Mullica Hill, bear right to continue on Rt. 45 towards Woodstown. (If you continued straight you are probably on Rt. 77; go back and go the other way.)
  4. Continue about 7 miles to Woodstown. (You will have to bear left in Woodstown to avoid Rt. 636.) At the intersection of Routes 45, 40, and 672, go straight onto Rt. 672 south (South Main St.).
  5. Continue one-half mile (just past the lake) and bear left at the fork to stay on Rt. 672.
  6. Continue about 1 mile to the the intersection with Rt. 615. Bear right to stay on Rt. 672.
  7. Continue about 4-5 miles. Camp Roosevelt is on the left. Go past the service road and the lake to the main camp entrance.
  8. If you come to the intersection with Rt. 611 in Watson Corner, you've gone too far south.

From New Jersey Turnpike

  1. Take New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 2. Get onto Rt. 322 east.
  2. Continue about 4.5 miles to Rt. 45, at a traffic light in Mullica Hill. Turn right onto Rt. 45 south. (NOTE: The sign at this intersection indicates you can only reach Rt. 45 by turning left. It lies.)
  3. At the Friends School in Mullica Hill, bear right to continue on Rt. 45 towards Woodstown. (If you continued straight you are probably on Rt. 77; go back and go the other way.)
  4. Continue about 7 miles to Woodstown. (You will have to bear left in Woodstown to avoid Rt. 636.) At the intersection of Routes 45, 40, and 672, go straight onto Rt. 672 south (South Main St.).
  5. Continue one-half mile and bear left (just past the lake) to stay on Rt. 672.
  6. Continue about 1 mile to the the intersection with Rt. 615. Bear right to stay on Rt. 672.
  7. Continue about 4-5 miles. Camp Roosevelt is on the left. Go past the service road and the lake to the main camp entrance.
  8. If you come to the intersection with Rt. 611 in Watson Corner, you've gone too far south.

From Delaware Memorial Bridge

  1. Take the New Jersey Turnpike from the bridge to Exit 1. Get onto Rt. 40 east.
  2. Continue about 8 miles to the intersection with Rt. 45. Go straight onto Rt. 616 southeast (Bailey St.).
  3. Continue one-half mile and merge left onto Rt. 672 south (South Main St.).
  4. Continue less than one-half mile to the the intersection with Rt. 615. Bear right to stay on Rt. 672.
  5. Continue about 4-5 miles. Camp Roosevelt is on the left. Go past the service road and the lake to the main camp entrance.
  6. If you come to the intersection with Rt. 611 in Watson Corner, you've gone too far south.

From Route 55

  1. Take Rt. 55 to Exit 39 (Elmer). Get onto Rt. 40 west.
  2. Continue about 9 miles (3 lights) though the town of Elmer to the Pole Tavern Circle. Go though circle onto Rt. 635 south. (There should be Point 40 Diner and a white house — go between them.)
  3. Continue until you come to 611 West at a flashing light. Turn right onto Rt. 611 west.
  4. Continue to 672 north (at the next flashing light). Turn right onto Rt. 672 north.
  5. Camp Roosevelt is on the right.
  6. If you come to the intersection with Rt. 581, you've gone too far north.
